Our Goal:
Eastern Sky Theatre Company is on the cutting edge of presenting excellent productions that impact audiences for Christ. The founding members have worked together for almost twenty years while the newest members have joined from cities all over Southern California. Forty churches are represented in the membership of this high impact company. The goal of every production is to achieve a level of artistic excellence based on biblical scripture that inspires audiences to turn to Jesus Christ.

Our Team:
TREy FERNALD
Over the past three decades, Trey Fernald has partnered with his wife, Ariel, to write, direct, cast, and produce, over 100 pieces for the stage and screen between the two. Their works include sketches, human videos, one-act plays, full length plays, musicals, talk shows and film scripts. Trey and Ariel are also authors of the book, Producing Drama for Ministry which is being used by both ministries and universities around the country.
Their most acclaimed live production, The Last Appeal, is a powerful story written by Trey, that originated as a touring stage show and was later filmed for TV. TLA has been viewed by over fifteen million people worldwide. Trey is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Eastern Sky Theatre Company. Over the course of his career, Trey has mobilized hundreds of Christian artists to impact the world for Christ. In addition, Trey is an adjunct professor, public speaker, ordained minister, and accomplished actor. Trey is a Chapman University graduate with degrees in both Theatre and Creative Writing who cherishes his university experience of studying Theatre in London.
Trey’s most recent film titled, Bringing Back Christmas swept film festivals and debuted November 2023. It can now be seen on multiple platforms including Apple TV, Amazon and Vudu.
Trey is currently working on a documentary title, “Singled Out”, as well as preparing for filming his next feature script, ETERNAL REALM.
Ariel Fernald
Over the past three decades, Ariel Fernald has partnered with her husband

best picture, best director, and best ensemble cast. TLA has been viewed by over thirteen million people worldwide. In addition, Ariel and Trey are the founders of Eastern Sky Theatre Company. Over the course of her career, Ariel has mobilized hundreds of Christian artists to impact the world for Christ.
Ariel is a public speaker, Bible teacher, adjunct professor at Biola University and Abilene Christian University as well as the President of Eastern Sky Theatre Company (ESTC). Ariel is a Chapman University honors graduate who cherishes her university experiences of studying Theatre in London and singing on tour in Russia.
Ariel’s most recent film titled, Bringing Back Christmas which swept film festivals in 2023 with over 30 awards, can be seen right now on Amazon, Apple, Vudu and several other platforms. Ariel is currently producing a documentary title, Singled Out, while preparing for filming of her latest feature script, ETERNAL REALM.
Isaac Hernandez
Isaac has a prolific portfolio with over four decades of experience in the Christian entertainment industry which includes directing and producing hundreds of TV shows for the Trinity Broadcasting Network, including their live flagship show Praise the Lord. He also served as a programming executive for the network before leaving to help launch the first faith-based subscription streaming movie platform, Parables TV.
In 2019, He launched his own TV show, “Faith On Film,” an interview talk program which can be seen on over 19 various platforms and networks worldwide.
Nick Schroeder
With a career that spans almost 2 decades, Nick has had his hand in nearly all major aspects of the film industry. As a veteran actor he’s appeared in network TV shows like 90210, and starred in powerful, impactful movies like The Last Appeal and Washington’s Armor as well as many live plays and commercials. As a writer, Nick has successfully completed 4 feature length screenplays with his latest script, Punch Drunk, currently in development. Nick is also an accomplished producer. Most recently, he Executive Produced the award-winning pilot episode of the series, Reconciled. In addition, he has Executive Produced and Co-Directed the soon to be released, feature monster thriller, Shadow Creek.
Tatiana Fernald
Tatiana is a Creative Executive and Artist who is a Los Angeles based do good creator, blogger & digital branding stylist. She is the executive assistant to the founders responsible for leading the organization in defining their online presence and digital brand through website development, social media management and other communications.
In addition, Tatiana is the company primary professional choreographer with both live professional musicals like MY BROTHER, THE RABBI and films like Bringing Back Christmas under her belt. She has her dance teaching certificate through the Royal Academy of Ballet as well as mastery of other dance forms including tap, jazz, modern, hip hop, lyrical and swing. Tatiana’s creative input is sought after among the producers.
Corey Cannon
Corey Cannon is as comfortable in front of the camera as he is behind it. He is an accomplished actor, stuntman as well as a drone operator and producer. Corey has performed on stage and film for the past decade. He has been a series reoccurring or regular on shows like Talia, Chase, and Vindication along with supporting and starring roles in film projects like Shadow Creek.
As a successful businessman he has learned to transfer his skills in home building and development to successfully producing in the film industry. Currently, Corey is a producer for seasons 2 & 3 of the Pure Flix hit series, Vindication.
In addition, Corey has been on the producer teams that have created films like Shadow Creek and Bringing Back Christmas. He also Executive Produced the pilot episode of the award-winning new series, Reconciled. Corey has a reputation for managing budgets well to keep a high ROI for investors.
